Thomas Johnson studies at the MFA in Creative Writing at the New School for Public Research, New York, New York. He holds a Master’s in Writing from Johns Hopkins University and is passionate about writing that gets to the heart of the matter.

Johnson founded Union Spring Literary Review in the spring of 2024 with a bent toward difference-making – Toward a Better Future. He is editor-in-chief, webmaster, fiction editor, marketing and design liaison, and sole sponsor.

He currently works as Reviews Editor for West Trade Review, where he is responsible for assigning texts, providing developmental edits of reviews, copyediting and proofing, and publishing to the web for a broad audience.

Johnson also serves as Fiction Editor for Iron Oak Press, receiving and assigning manuscripts for potential publication.
